Sweet Ragi (Finger millet) milk smoothie


Ingredients:

Sprouted Ragi (Finger millet) - 1 table spoon

Jaggary – 100 grams

Cardamone – 1 no’s

Cow milk (optional)

Preparation method:

§  Extract and filter the Ragi milk from the sprouted Ragi and let it boil.

§  It must be stirred carefully to achieve a smooth consistency.

§  Add jaggary puree or jaggary powder and Cardamone powder.

§  Add warm cow's milk and stair it for few minutes (optional).

§  Now ready to serve warm and Enjoy the smoothie.

Salted Raghi (Finger Millet) smoothie

Ingredients:

Sprouted Ragi (Finger millet) - 1 table spoon

Fresh curd – small cup

Salt as per taste.

Method of preparation:

§  Extract and filter the ragi milk from the sprouted ragi and let it boil.

§  It must be stirred carefully to achieve a smooth consistency.

§  Once its get down little warm add fresh curd and salt.

§  Now ready to serve warm and normal.

Raghi (Finger millet) flour and curd smoothie

Ingredients:

Ragi flour – 2 table spoons

Normal water – 250 ml

Fresh curd – one small cup

Salt as per taste

Preparation method:

·       Mix the 2 tablespoons of Rahi flour in normal water without lumps.

·       Cook it in medium flame 3 to 5 minutes and we can get smooth consistency.

·       Leave it with lid and let it down little warmer and add fresh curd.

·       Add salt as per your taste.

·       Now ready to serve.

Sweet Poha (Sweet Aval)

Ingredients:

I cup poha (Aval) (all types of poha we can use). It has to be washed and drain water completely.

2 tea spoons of grated coconut

Cardamone powder one pinch

1 cup of powdered Jaggary

Grated cashew and Almond

Ghee one tea spoon.

Preparation method

1.   Add ghee in pan one as well add grated nuts and coconut till its turns into golden brown

2.   Add poha simultaneously add jaggary powder as well.

3.   Mix it well. It will come out looks sweet Pongal consistency but different creamy taste.

4.   Its ready to serve now.

Samba Broken Wheat Paysam or Broken Wheat Kheer



Broken Wheat – 1 cup

Jaggary powder ½ cup

Coconut milk or cow milk 2 cup (or we can use either one)

Cardamone powder 2 pinch

Nuts as per requirements and Ghee.

Preparation Method

1.   Pressure cook broken with three cups of water. Allow it for three to four whistles as per the consistency till it get smooth texture.

2.   Keep another pan in stove make jaggary puree along with Cardamone and filter it in cooked broken wheat.

3.   Boil it for 5 minutes get think liquid consistence then add coconut or cow milk.

4.   Add roasted nuts

5.   Now ready to serve.
